What is this Murf?
Murf is a very small custom surfboard company, just me building the boards. I do all the shaping, painting, glassing, sanding and finish work. Everything is done by hand, the boards are shaped from scratch (meaning from a blank without the use of a shaping machine). I take great pride in each and every board, the entire process is done with care and attention to detail, and a lot of effort goes into making sure they all come out as perfect as I can make them. Every murfboard is custom made to order to insure that it is the right surfboard for you.
Ordering a Murf
As a surfboard builder I rely on information from you the surfer to create a surfboard that is a balance between what you want and what you need. A surfboard, in my opinion, can be built to ride any kind of a wave for any size person of any skill level. Communicating what kind of waves you want to ride along with information about what your present surfboard is, how you hope to improve on it, as well as your ability level, and body size are all key points in giving me a better idea of what your new surfboard should be.
